Quick Start with MyNewsletterBuilder

Getting started with Email Marketing and Email Newsletter Marketing is easy using MyNewsletterBuilder.

This page answers the following Frequently Asked Questions:

Login to your MyNewsletterBuilder account

  1. Go to the login page ( https://www.MyNewsletterBuilder.com/login ) or to any page on the MyNewsletterBuilder website with a login form below the main blue navigation bar.
  2. Type your username and password into the "username" and "password" fields.
  3. Click the "Login" button.
  4. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can click the Forgot Password? or Forgot Username? links to send a reminder email to the email address associated with the account.

1. Add email addresses (email lists) to your account

  1. When you are logged in to your account, navigate to My Subscribers > Add Subscribers. A “General” category has been created for you.

  2. Create additional Subscriber Categories (email lists) by typing a Category Name (and optional Description) and clicking the Add Category button.
  3. Add your own opt-in email list newsletter subscribers using any of the methods provided: Quick Add, Upload File, or Form Add.

  4. Note: We do not allow the use of purchased, shared and borrowed lists.

Subscriber details can be uploaded only the first time you Add Subscribers. If the details need to be added or changed later, you must go to My Subscribers > Update Subscribers to apply edits or additions to existing subscribers. Because each email address has only one subscriber record which is shared between all Subscriber Categories, a single update with correct subscriber information across all categories.

2. Create an email newsletter

  1. When you are logged in to your account, navigate to My Account > Home or My Newsletters > View Newsletters.

  2. Click the green Create Newsletter button or the blue Create Audio/Video button.

  3. You will see approximately 100 template options including email newsletter templates built for audio-video email content. Click on a template image to see an example newsletter created using each template.

    You will be able to add colors, text, and images to any template you select.
  4. Once you have selected a template, follow the on-screen directions for each step.

    • Click Next to save and continue.
    • Click Save to save and remain in the same step. The Save button is available after the first two steps have been completed.
    • Click the Preview button in the Content Editor as you work to see your results and email yourself preview newsletters.

  5. When your newsletter is ready to send, navigate to Review and click the Done button. This will return you to My Newsletters > View Newsletters > Newsletter Drafts.

  6. Click the Preview icon preview.gif next to your saved newsletter to double-check your work before Sending.

3. Send your email newsletter

  1. When you are logged in to your account, navigate to My Newsletters > View Newsletters > Newsletter Drafts.

  2. Click the Send button next to your saved newsletter. (You must have previously added email addresses and created an email newsletter. See above.)

  3. Choose your Scheduling Options, put a check next to your Subscriber Categories, and click the Send button on the Schedule page. (Use Smart Send to avoid Internet Gridlock during high traffic periods. Use Manual Send to select a specific time.)

  4. You will receive an email notice when your newsletter has been sent and your newsletter will be moved to My Newsletters > View Newsletters > Sent Newsletters.

4. Track your email newsletter

  1. When you are logged in to your account, navigate to My Reports > My Newsletters to track open rates, click rates, and other statistics.

  2. Click the name of the newsletter to see reports. (Your newsletter will be listed under My Reports > My Newsletters after it has been sent.)
  3. Click your web browser's Refresh or Reload button to update your reports in real time.

5. Publish your email newsletter

  1. When you are logged in to your account, navigate to My Newsletters > View Newsletters > All Newsletters.

  2. Click the Publish icon publish.gif next to your newsletter.
  3. Complete three easy steps to make your newsletter available to search engines and potential new subscribers...
    Step 1: Assign or create a Newsletter Group.
    Step 2: Type a brief Newsletter Description.
    Step 3: Click the Publish button.

After you publish at least one newsletter, you can go to http://www.eNewsStandOnline.com and log in with the same username and password that you use to log into MyNewsletterBuilder.com.

If you are already logged in to MyNewsletterBuilder.com, you can click the eNewsStandOnline link in the black strip at the top of any page to automatically login to eNewsStandOnline without having to reenter your username and password.

Grow your opt-in email list

Build your opt-in email subscriber lists by using our Signup Builder to add an Email Sign Up Box to your Website or online Profile.   1. Click the blue Create Signup Box button featured under My Quick Links when you log in to your account:

  2. Select All and Copy the HTML code you generated in the Signup Builder. The generated HTML code is update dynamically as you change the Form Type and Options.

  3. Paste this HTML code into your online profiles and web pages or send this HTML code to the person who maintains your web pages and online profile pages.
