MyNewsletterBuilder.com requires pop-ups to work correctly. We only use functional pop-ups on the site, and will never spam you with advertising. If you computer is using software to block pop-ups, you will not be able to use many of the features of MyNewsletterBuilder.
Pop-ups (popups) are small windows that open up automatically when you visit a web site or when you click on a link or button. Often they are used to display extra information or add functionality to a site.
Pop-ups have received a bad name because they are often abused by websites seeking to push more advertising in front of your web browsing session. Also, many people have computers infected with worms and viruses that pop up advertising.
To address these problems many web browsers now include pop-up blockers to try and stem some of the annoying behavior. There is an entire industry dedicated to helping you avoid annoying pop-ups. Unfortunately, there is no way for a computer to determine if a pop-up window is unwanted and malicious, or if you really wanted to see that newsletter preview. As web applications move toward mimicking the software you use everyday on your desktop, they increasingly have traits of those applications. If your pop-up software blocks this behavior, those web applications won’t work for you.
We have provided instructions on allowing MyNewsletterBuilder.com permission to open pop-ups in some of the most common pop-up blocking applications. Unfortunately, there are nearly a limitless number of these applications and you may have something installed that we do not provide instructions for. We recommend that you contact the vendor for information on allowing pop-ups from specific websites. It is ill-advised to completely disable your pop-up blocker or security software.
You may have one or more of these applications installed and activated on your computer. Please address them all to ensure that you will have all of our functionality available to you.
On Windows XP, installing Service Pack 2 adds a pop-up blocker to Internet Explorer 6. When it is installed it is turned on by default and set to the Medium security setting which will block most pop-ups. Versions 7 and 8 have the pop-up blocker built in.
There are no per-site settings for pop-ups in Safari.
The Google Toolbar is an add-on for Internet Explorer and FireFox. There are no per site settings available for the pop-up blocker that it includes. You will need to disable the blocker when you visit MyNewsletterBuilder and re-enabled it after you leave.
The Google Toolbar looks like this:

Many people have the Yahoo toolbar added to their Internet Explorer or FireFox browser. As it is included in many software downloads (Yahoo! Messenger, Shockwave Flash Plugin, etc...) it may be installed without you even knowing it.
The Yahoo Toolbar looks like this (the Pop-Up blocker icon has an orange box around it):

There are two versions of Norton Internet Security covered here. If the first one doesn't work for you, try the second.
