Quick Start with My Account

How do I update or review my email marketing software preferences?

It’s easy to update and review your preferences under My Account > Account Settings.

  1. Click on the blue section title bar to open each section for review.
  2. Read the description or click the Help? link for the specific section your are reviewing.
  3. If you make changes click the Save button at the bottom of any section to save your work.

Special messages regarding your account and important upgrades such as an alert to validate your email return address before sending email or to add email list subscription boxes to your website using our Secure-Subscribe™ Signup Builder.

My Quick Links

The welcome page after you login (enter your unique username and password) includes My Quick Links for commonly accessed or recommended features.

  • Create Newsletter – Click this button to go to My Newsletters > Create Newsletter so you can start building your email marketing or email newsletter with one click.
  • Create Audio/Video – Click this button to select email marketing templates with JukeboxAlive Audio-Video-Multimedia integration including Events and One-Click Streaming Flash Video, Audio, Music, Montage, Playlists, Radio Stations, and eVoiceSpot multimedia presentations.
  • Create Signup Box – Click to automatically generate the HTML code you need to add clean and safe email list building signup forms to your website pages, Internet marketing directories and online profiles.
  • Create Auto-Series – Click this button to go to My Newsletters > Auto-Series, after you have created a sequence of emails to be sent to subscribers relative to subscriber signup or other on-demand action.
  • Custom Templates – This drop-down menu appears if you have a Custom Template installed into your account. Select your Custom Template to start creating a new email newsletter or email marketing blast.

My Quick Links may change from time to time based on account configuration and exciting new features.

About Our Features

We include a description of the features found under each section of the main navigation for MyNewsletterBuilder. Once you become familiar with these features, you will be able to Create + Send + Track + Manage your email marketing campaigns and email newsletters in minutes.

Account Summary

  • Account Services

    – review your email marketing services.
    • Upgrade Account – Increase your email marketing service level to grow your email list size for Unlimited Send accounts or increase your email quota for Standard Newsletter or Bulk Email accounts.
    • Add Extra Emails – Purchase a bucket of bulk email credits you can use with your Bulk Email or Standard Newsletter account to send email marketing and HTML newsletters above your quota level.
    • Add Subscriptions – Add pre-written email newsletters subscriptions that arrive in your account ready to send to your subscribers. For enterprise partner or sub accounts, this may include the ability to review your enterprise email marketing Account Group subscriptions.
    • Update Billing Info – Select method for payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Electronic Check (U.S. only) for your next renewal or upgrade.
    • Set Auto Renewal – One-time or recurring auto-renewal for prepaid accounts. (Monthly accounts are always set for auto-renewal.)
  • Account Status

    • Subscribers – Email recipients in a subscriber category on your email list.
      • Subscriber Level – Maximum number of subscribers you can have in your account under your current plan.
      • Current Subscribers – Current number of subscribers in your account.
      • Remaining Subscribers – Number of subscribers that can be added to your account before you need to upgrade.
      • Recycled Subscribers – Subscribers that have been marked for removal from your account.
      • Recycling Day – Date recycled subscribers are removed from your account.
    • Emails – HTML newsletters and email marketing messages sent to subscribers using your account.
      • Email Quota Level – Pre-paid email message sending credits in your account for this period.
      • Sent This Period – Email message sent from your account for this period.
      • Remaining Emails – Unused pre-paid email message sending credits left in your account for this period.
      • Extra Bulk Emails – Unused bulk email sending credits in your account.
      • Quota Refresh Date – The next date your sent email count is reset to zero, refilling your email sending credits up to your full email quota level.
    • Subscriptions – Programs that provide you with ready-to-send enewsletters.
      • Vendor NameContent Corner is our email marketing service providing pre-written email marketing newsletters. For enterprise email marketing Campaign Manager accounts, this may be the Organization name.
      • Subscription Name – Email marketing program interest topic or category. For enterprise email marketing Campaign Manager accounts, this may be the associated Account Group name.
      • Renewal Date – Expiration date for the pre-written enewsletters subscription.

Upgrade

  • Help Pop-up for Account Upgrade – Need Help? Click this link to increase your email marketing service level.
  • Unlimited Send Account

    – Upgrade to increase email list opt-in subscribers you can send to and keep in your account.
    • If you delete or remove subscribers from your account to make room for new subscribers, the old subscribers will still be counted in your Unlimited Send subscriber count until the next Period.
    • If you find yourself over your limit (above your email subscriber level), you may Upgrade now by purchasing additional subscribers for this period or increasing your account level for this and future periods.
  • Professional Bulk Email Account

    – Upgrade to increase the emails you can send during the current Period.
    • If you are trying to Send HTML email marketing content and receive a message that you do not have enough email quota remaining, you can purchase additional bulk email credits for this period only or increasing your account level for this and future periods.
    • For regular bulk email senders and for enewsletters, we recommend upgrading to Unlimited Send, Professional Bulk Email, or Standard Newsletter accounts, so that you can send at least once a month.
    • An opt-in email list that is sent to on a regular basis gets fewer unsolicited bulk email complaints, because subscribers remember that they signed up for your emails (i.e., opt email, opt-in email newsletters, permission email marketing).
  • Standard Monthly Newsletter Account

    – Upgrade to increase emails you can send during the current Period.
    • If you are trying to Send your HTML email newsletter and receive a message that you do not have enough email quota remaining, you can purchase additional bulk email credits for this period only or increasing your account level for this and future periods.

Account Settings

Please review these setting periodically. Grow your email marketing and online marketing results using the extra online marketing features available through the settings below.

  • Member Profile

    • These settings include contact information for CAN-SPAM compliance. You may also upload a logo or banner to be used for subscriber and survey pages. (You can personalize individual subscriber and survey pages under the More Features tab.)

  • Content Editor

    • Default selections for creating email newsletters: WYSIWYG HTML Content Editor Mode, Auto-Save Editing, Editor Warnings, and optional email newsletter Content Sharing authorization code.

  • Tracking and Analytics

    • Default selections for tracking email newsletters: Link Tracking Reports and Google Analytics Tracking.

  • Footer Options

    • Choose footer language, add tagging for social networking sites like Facebook and StumbleUpon, and select a default pre-made or custom footer for your newsletters.

  • Integrated Network

    • Options for communicating between JBA Network sites and your email newsletter and email marketing account. Select specific usernames to use to pull event and multimedia content from JBA Network websites. By default, this integration is handled automatically, in most templates, if you are using the same username for all your JBA Network accounts.

  • Subscriber Information

    • Choose email lists (Subscriber Categories) available when someone subscribes to your newsletter using a link in your newsletter or a form or link on your website. You can choose which Subscriber Categories are selected by default. Also choose which fields are visible and which are required for new subscribers. By default, no fields are required and only First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State/Province, and Zip/Postal Code are shown.

Mission Control

This feature provides a central Control Panel that allows organizations to access and manage email marketing campaigns for dozens to thousands of sub-accounts including email newsletter content, sender contact data, email campaign scheduling, email tracking and statistics, and email list management.

MyNewsletterBuilder is here to support you. If you are not finding the help you need through on-page help and this help directory, please contact us:

  • Chat – Click the LiveSupport button, Monday through Thursday, 7 AM – 10 PM EST/EDT, and Friday, 7 AM – 9 PM EST/EDT
    • We provide personal help through a Live Chat window on your computer screen.
    • Our LiveSupport button is located in the top right corner of each web page.
    • If the Live Chat system is busy or unavailable, your message will be sent by email.

We provide Live Support 15 hours a day weekdays excluding major holidays. We also check support emails at night and over the weekend. Inquires received after 10 PM EST/EDT (after 9 PM EST/EDT on Fridays) are responded to via email as soon as we have answers to your questions.

Please include your name, username and contact information when you contact Live Support.

If the issue is related to a specific newsletter, please provide the name of the newsletter, the web browser version and the operating system (Windows Vista, for example), and a description of the steps to take to reproduce the issue. This small amount of information allows us to see what you are seeing and address your concerns as promptly as possible.
