Newsletter Name
Choose a short, descriptive name for your email newsletter. This name is for your use only, to help you identify and organize your newsletters. It does not appear anywhere in the email newsletters sent to email addresses.

When you View Newsletters, your newsletters are listed in alpha-numerical order. Use alphabetically similar names to organize groups of emails in your account.

If you share this newsletter through Instant Import or through an Enterprise Account with Mission Control™ using Push or Send, this is the Newsletter Name that will appear in users’ accounts or sub-accounts for users to identify this newsletter.

Refresh Newsletter Data
You can update the sender and contact information in your email newsletters to match the current account settings data using the Refresh Newsletter Data option. This option is visible when a newsletter has been previously saved.

When should I use the Refresh Newsletter Data option?

  • Whenever you change your contact information and want it updated in an existing newsletter.
  • Whenever you receive or Instant Import a newsletter template from another account.

Why not use the Refresh Newsletter Data option automatically?

  • You may want to avoid unexpected changes in existing newsletters.
  • You may want to keep different project-specific or newsletter-specific contact information.

With MyNewsletterBuilder, you may want change your account contact information at any time, but might not want to modify an existing newsletter. For this reason, the Sender and Custom Contact information stored in your newsletters is not automatically updated when you make changes under My Account > Settings or More Features > Personalization > Custom Contact for Templates.

Storing this data in each newsletter allows you to make temporary changes in your contact information to send out a personal holiday newsletter, for example, and prevent these changes from suddenly showing up in embarrassing places, such as professional emails you are currently sending or in your published, draft, or archived newsletters.
