Subject Prefix
If you use this optional field, this text will appear in brackets at the beginning of the subject line that will appear as the subject of the email in your subscribers’ email inboxes.
Consider consistently including your name, company name or list topic in the Subject Prefix so that your subscribers recognize your incoming emails. For improved open rates, the subject should include a topic that your subscribers are interested in and some reference to the name of the list subscribers joined. This can be in the Subject Prefix or in the main part of the subject line.
Newsletter Subject
Email Subject – the subject line that will appear as the subject of the email newsletter in your subscribers’ email inboxes. If used, the optional Subject Prefix will be added to the beginning of this subject line.
This subject line should change for every newsletter to prevent being condensed in Gmail and other email services that string emails together as a conversation and attempt to omit repeated content.
You may use tokens in email subject fields. If no data is available, the token will be removed based on your settings under Content Options. When you use tokens in your email subject lines, always plan your subject line to work with or without token data. For example, if you insert the #first_name# token into the subject line, expect that some subscribers may not have subscribed with a first name, in which case the #first_name# token will be removed instead of replaced. See Tokens below for more information.
For better results, try to include a topic for immediate action which you can focus on in the first main article or side article in the body of your newsletter. This could be purchasing tickets or registering for an event, taking advantage of special savings for newsletter subscribers, or placing a phone call in support of important legislation, as examples.
Sender’s Name
From Name – visible in the Sender or From column in your subscribers’ email inboxes. For improved open rates, this name should be recognizable to your subscribers. Use your own name if appropriate or your organization’s name.
Sender’s Email Address
From Email Address – visible in the Sender or From column in your subscribers’ email inboxes. For improved open rates, this email address should not be suspiciously different from the organization or name used. An email address matching the website address for the organization works best.
Reply Address
Reply-To Email Address – visible to subscribers when they Reply to your email newsletter. This will not be visible in subscribers’ email inboxes and should not affect open rates. This may affect email responses to your email newsletters. This email address should not be suspiciously different from the organization or name seen elsewhere in the email. An email address matching the website address for the organization works best.

How do Tokens work?
Subscriber tokens are individually replaced with available data for each subscriber when your email is sent. If no data is available, the token is simply removed from the email.
Sender and Custom Contact tokens preview and send with your settings as of the moment you select a template to create a newsletter or Instant Import a newsletter from another account.
You can update the Sender and Custom Contact data in your newsletters to match the current Account Settings and Custom Contact data using Refresh Template Data option under Name This Newsletter.
Subscriber ID and Newsletter ID are automatically set to a unique number. These ID fields are used in header and footer links.
