Account Description

My Account Description – Search Engine Marketing
This is optional. If you add an account description, it will be used on the Email Newsletter Publication page as the search content linking to your index page of published HTML newsletters. The description adds relevant search terms to your the email newsletter marketing. This page will only display your Account Description once you create and publish at least one email newsletter.

Write about topics you will cover that would interest your readers, including phrases and terms that your potential audience might use if they were searching for what you have to offer. Avoid using any terms associated with content that is not for General Audiences, since this can cause your content to be filtered out by some search engines. Consider including a description of your business or organization, including areas you serve and your physical location.

The Email Newsletter Publication page on MyNewsletterBuilder.com helps with search engine marketing for your published e-newsletters.

Go to More Features > Personalization > Publish-to-Web – to set up your Publish-to-Web Profile, which may be similar to your Account Description, after you click the Save button to save your edits.

Your Publish-to-Web Profile on eNewsStandOnline.com gives your the HTML newsletters important links from the external directory of an online email newsstand. This improves the visibility of both your e-newsletter marketing and your search marketing content.

For search engine and email marketing best practices, your Publish-to-Web Profile and your Account Description should not be identical. Use different sentence structure, style and content so that search engines do not mistake your Account Description and Publish-to-Web Profile for duplicate content. Likewise, you should work to avoid identical content in your published email newsletters and other online content. Being mistaken for “content spamming” can adversely affect your search marketing results.

Account Logo

My Account Logo – Surveys and Subscriber Pages
This is optional. If you upload an account logo or banner, it will be used as the default graphic in the place of your Organization Name at the top of your subscription forms and surveys. For this reason, we recommend that the Account Logo include your business or professional name in the graphic.

The subscription forms and surveys are also individually customizable. You can select a different logo graphic for each part of the subscription system form and for each survey separately, on a case-by-case basis, or leave your default Account Logo in place.

Go to More Features > Personalization > Confirmation System – to customize notices sent to subscribers.
Go to More Features > Personalization > Subscription System – to customize Subscribe, Unsubscribe, and Preferences pages for subscribers.
Go to More Features > Surveys – to create custom surveys for your current and potential subscribers.
