Footer Options

Choose footer language, add tagging for social networking sites like Facebook and StumbleUpon, and select a default pre-made or custom footer for your newsletters.

Language

Footer Language
Specify the language for the text links in your newsletter footer.

The content footer language translations are fixed to assure compliance with CAN-SPAM and international laws.

We are eager to add new translations for international email marketing. Please send an email to support@jbanetwork.com with verifiable translations if you have other languages you would like for us to support (or changes to existing translations you would like to recommend).

If you have other languages you would like to use immediately, you can by choosing to use the optional Content Header when you create your next newsletter. The Content Header will appear above your email content and include only the links you select. Although your footer language selection here also sets the default (starting) language for the Content Header, the link text in the Content Header is completely customized – perfect for adding translations or even bilingual content to support your targeted multilingual email marketing.

Social Networking Links

Enable Social Networking Links
If you turn this on, your email footers will have links to the social networking sites listed below. This can help grow your subscriber opt-in email lists, search engine presence, email marketing, and viral marketing results.

Footer Settings

Select your newsletter footer here. This change will effect templates that are created after you save your selection. (Footers are attached to newsletters when the newsletters are created.)

To change a footer for an existing newsletter, select your desired newsletter footer here, save your settings, go to My Newsletters > View Newsletters, open your newsletter for editing, check Refresh Newsletter Data, and Save your newsletter. This will attach the new footer to the existing newsletter.

For a custom footer, please contact support. A custom email footer with your logo or no branding at all is FREE for prepaid 12 month accounts. There is a nominal service fee of $50 to $100 for account on a monthly or bi-annual billing schedule.

The tokens (terms with # symbols on either side) will be replaced with the information you have provided under My Account > Account Settings > Member Profile:

  • #org_name# – This is your business or organization name.
  • #signature_address# – This is your street address as required by CAN-SPAM and international laws.
  • #signature_city# – This is your city as required by CAN-SPAM and international laws.
  • #signature_state# – This is your state or province as required by CAN-SPAM and international laws.
  • #signature_zip# – This is your Postal Code or ZIP Code.

When you are done editing, remember to click the Save button at the bottom of any section to save your changes.
