Help with Auto-Series Editor
How do I create an new Auto-Series?
Follow these steps and then click the Save button to send the first email in your Auto-Series and schedule subsequent emails.
- Name this Auto-Series.
- Select one or more email newsletters in the order you wish subscribers to receive them.
- Assign this Auto-Series to one or more Subscriber Categories.
- Choose your Auto-Series Frequency.
- Make the Auto-Series Status “Active” if your are ready for your Auto-Series to start sending.
Auto-Series Name
For your reference only, briefly describing the series you are creating. This is required.
Auto-Series Newsletters
Choose up to fifty-two (52) newsletters. The series always begins with the first newsletter and proceeds in the order and intervals you select. At least one newsletter selection is required.
Click on the Preview icon ( 
) to open a preview of the selected email newsletter in a pop-up window.
Choose Subscriber Categories
Choose the category or categories you want to link to this newsletter series. When subscribers add themselves or are added to a category you select, they will automatically begin receiving the Auto-Series you’ve linked to the category, starting with the first newsletter in the series. At least one subscriber category selection is required.
Auto-Series Frequency
Select the days or dates to send subsequent newsletters in the Auto-Series. This is required.
- Weekly – Newsletters will be sent out on the weekdays you specify, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
- All Weeks – Newsletters will be sent out every week on the day or days you choose.
- Odd Weeks – Newsletters will be sent out during the first and third weeks in a month.
- Even Weeks – Newsletters will be sent out during the second and fourth weeks in a month.
- On These Days – Select one or more days of the week for Weekly or Bi-Weekly sending.
- Monthly – Newsletters will be sent out once a month on the day you choose. If you choose 29, 30, or 31 and that day does not exist in the month, it will instead be sent out on the last day of the month.
Auto-Series Status
When Active is selected, this newsletter series will be considered active and will be sent out on the days or frequency you have selected. You can temporarily deactivate the series by selecting the Inactive option. While Inactive, your series newsletters will not be sent.
What is an Auto-Series?
Auto-Series schedules a sequence of email newsletters to start on the day a Subscriber Category is added or a Subscriber is added to a Subscriber Category assigned to an Auto-Series.
A newly added Subscriber will start the Auto-Series with the first issue. Each issue in the Auto-Series is delivered in the same sequence to each Subscriber, one issue at a time, based on the Frequency you’ve selected.
